While gasoline hovers at about four bucks a gallon, natural gas is priced at the equivalent of $1.89 per gallon. Chevrolet and GMC are hoping to take advantage of that disparity by offering bi-fuel heavy-duty pickups for fleet and retail customers beginning on April 19, the day before Earth Day. The bi-fuel option will cost buyers $11,000, on top of the price of the pickups.

After yesterday’s leak of photos of the 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring, we did say BMW would probably get their act together and do the official release this weekend. After all, there’s precious little point not doing so when the information is already roaming the Interweb. There’s a light bar on the roof for official signaling duties and the package is wrapped in a suitably-loud M colour scheme
